Tunic and Belt

The tunic was traditionally made out of wool and carried bunched up loosely on the body during the day, but then used as the temperature dropped or to protect from wind.  They were secured with a pin.  The wealthy used broaches made out of expensive material.  The every day working man had one tunic, while the wealth had many of different colors and made out of different fabric and wore as decoration, not function.

The belt was made out of leather and was used to secure clothing and items to the body.  Slings, money bag, food bag, tools, and swords, were hung from the belt.
