Waterfall Quilt

The waterfall quilt is friendly to a new sewer because there are no points to match up.  Sewing wise we have replaced a four way intersection with a three way.  The pieces are large making the sewing faster and depends more on the colors and variety of the fabric in this fat quarter quilt.

Another unique approach to this pattern is that the fat quarters are sewn together first before and then cut into long strips and then assembled into large blocks.  To help first time quilters we created this color wheel page.

The three page directions with a fourth page showing color variations are in Waterfall Quilt.  A fun way to finish this quilt is to use three different fat quarters to make the Fat Quarter Binding.
